Barn door with no header.
Ask question asked 10 months ago.
We installed a barn door and found with the header board there is more of a gap than we want between the door and the wall.
There is not currently a header of any kind above this opening.
Once the header is installed to the drywall the track can be firmly added to the header.
In the interest of time though you can do a google image search for header board barn door.
I m fine with leaving it open for.
Thanks for stopping by.
This support header is fully customizable with different colors finishes.
Your order is processing please do not press the back button or refresh the page.
I know we could put trim on the door but we repurposed a rustic door and adding trim would detract from its charm.
I am mounting shutters using the same hardware used for barn door sliders.
Add structural support for your barn door with our sliding barn door support header.

As i mentioned in my post it was necessary since the predrilled holes in barn door hardware don t line up with studs.
The header reinforces the drywall making it strong enough for your barn door.
But i don t find that it looks odd i like it in both spaces.
I have calculated i need 12 hardware.
Picking and installing your barn door header rustica has the option of customizing your header to match perfectly with your barn door and wall.
What i need to know is if the window is surrounded by 3 4 trim and the shutters are 1 and 3 4 thick can i mount the hardware to the wall with enough space to run the shutters back and forth over the window opening or do i absolutely have to.
There is no header and i don t mind there being an open area above the door for extra air flow.
I want to install a barn door across the opening to the master bathroom.
The barn door should be wide enough to completely cover the doorway with an inch or two of overhang on both sides and about one inch at the top.

Barn door with no header.
Ask question asked 5 months ago.
I have a hallway that leads into a group of bedrooms.
What is the best way to do this.
Any idea where to get shorter spacers to close the gap to what it would be without the header board.
Mounting over a bay window.
It should be tall enough so that when it s hung on the track there is about 1 2 inch of space between the bottom of the door and the floor.
